ISO/TS 16949 Rules 3rd Edition will be updated during 2013 for release in 2014 as TS Rules 4th Edition. The certification body (CB) community has not yet seen the new version to the Rules but as a TS 16949 client you can expect there will be changes that impact the auditing and certification scheme. ASR will be participating in the TS Rules 4th Edition meeting hosted by the IATF/IAOB during November 2013. During December 2013 all clients will be notified of any TS Rules changes that may impact their upcoming audits.

The IATF (International Automotive Task Force) has been granted an exception from ISO to keep the TS 16949 standard with its present clause structure.
