Timely Corrective Action Responses

Written by Karl Dorr - ASR Quality Manager on . Posted in ASR Quality & Standards Blog

Quality-Control-RejectedASR's operating procedures require that upon the closing of an audit, an organization has 30 days to address and implement a response, and return the response to the auditor for review.

It is important that work begin immediately on a corrective action response to take advantage of the 30-day time period for conducting effective root cause analysis.

Delaying work on the response may result in inadequate root cause analysis work and could lead to ineffective corrective action. Irreversible corrective action is the objective.

Stay in touch with your auditor if there is a remote chance the organization cannot meet the 30-day response date.
